Cookie Notice

Effective August 16, 2026 · Applies to batching.missourimvr.com

This notice explains the cookies and similar technologies used by MissouriMVR Batching, a service of Insurance Information Services, Inc. We use essential, first-party cookies only. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics trackers, or cross-site tracking of any kind, and we do not sell personal information. Because every cookie we set is strictly necessary for the Service to function, no consent is required for our current use — this notice is provided for transparency.

1. Cookies we set

Form protection Protects every form against cross-site request forgery. Session
Record request Keeps an in-progress public record request connected to your browser so you can complete it across steps. Contains only a random token — no personal information. 24 hours
Notice acknowledgement Remembers that you have dismissed the cookie notice so it isn't shown repeatedly. 1 year

2. Security & fraud-prevention signals

To protect the Service — and the regulated records it provides — against fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access, we collect certain technical characteristics of your device and browser (such as screen configuration, installed software characteristics, and language/timezone settings) and summarize them into a single non-reversible value. This summary is used solely for security purposes: detecting abusive automation and protecting your session from being taken over. It is never used for advertising, is never shared for marketing, and cannot be reversed into the underlying characteristics. Legal basis where one is required: our legitimate interest in securing the Service and preventing fraud.

3. What we don't do

If we ever introduce marketing or analytics technologies in the future (for example, measuring a referral campaign), we will update this notice and the Privacy Policy first, and obtain consent where the law requires it before any such technology is used.

4. Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Because our cookies are strictly necessary, blocking them will prevent signing in and completing a public record request.
